Structural Engineer Position Overview
- Structural design for all types of building structures. Ideally, with some experience or knowledge of light gauge steel framing
- Help with the preparation of associated AutoCAD structural drawings.
- Providing support and or management of other Structural engineers
- Assistance with site inspections
- Developing new ideas
- Using the latest software
Structural Engineer Position Requirements
- Degree or master’s in civil and or Structural Engineering
- 5-10 years of post-graduate design experience
- Proficiency in IT systems (essential)
- A general understanding of building structures and materials, including steel, masonry, concrete and timber.
- Industry-standard structural design software such as TEDDS & Tekla Structural Designer
- Design experience in Eurocodes / British Standards.
- Proficient in the use of AutoCAD
- Passionate about new technologies and progressive change
- Car owner and UK driving licence
