Duties
– Manage and oversee the maintenance of all equipment and machinery in the facility
– Conduct routine inspections to identify any potential issues or malfunctions
– Perform repairs and maintenance tasks as needed, including mechanical and electrical
– Utilize schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot and diagnose problems
– Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs or installations
– Supervise and work alongside a team of maintenance technicians and provide guidance and support as needed
– Collaborate with other departments to prioritize maintenance needs and minimize downtime
Qualifications
– Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude for troubleshooting and repairing equipment
– Proficient in reading and interpreting schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
– Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to supervise a team effectively
– Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
– Knowledge of electrical systems, including wiring, motors, and control logic controllers (PLCs) ideal but not required
– Experience in project management, including planning, budgeting, and execution
– Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining a high level of productivity
– Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyse complex issues and develop effective solutions
– Prior experience in a maintenance role or similar field is preferred
