Position Overview
The post holder will be responsible for ensuring all stock levels are accurately recorded in the ERP system. This will include monitoring stock levels, raising replenishment reports and ensuring that stock is in the relevant location in an agreed time scale to ensure supply of stock for operations. Our client also sell a small number of products on Amazon and this role will also ensure there are no stock outages at fulfilment centres.
In addition the role supports the Procurement function with onboarding new suppliers, raising purchase requests, Requests for quotations and sourcing suppliers and also be responsible for overseeing a small fleet of company vehicles, monitoring mileage and ensuring the fleet are operating in line with company policies.
Key Responsibilities
Ensuring accuracy of ERP stock levels
Maintain stock levels in local and remote locations.
Accurately record goods in and out bound.
Arrange shipments of outbound stock
Preparing stock replenishment orders
Oversee Company vehicles to ensure these are fully compliant and operating in line with policies.
Supplier onboarding
Key Tasks
Co-ordinating stock control with operations
Reviewing supply and demand to prevent overstocking and running out-of-stock (OOS).
Placing and receiving orders to replenish stocks as needed.
Tracking shipments and coordinating internal stock transfers, as well as resolving delays
Overseeing stock storage processes
Maintaining a steady flow of stock from storage to where required.
Performing regular inventory audits
Maintaining and updating shipment records
Contacting potential new suppliers to gather onboarding information.
Monitoring vehicle trackers to ensure company vehicles are operating within company policy
Maintaining accurate records of service, tax and MOT on all company vehicles
Source and qualify new suppliers.
Collate terms, prices and agreements of suppliers.
Preparation of formal supply agreements
Maintenance of supply chain databases
Raising of Purchasing Orders

Qualifications, Certification and Licences
Driving licence (and access to own vehicle)
Demonstrable Experience
Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word
To work as part of a team and independently to deliver common goals and objectives.
Experience within a procurement environment
CIPS Level 3 (desirable)

Travel Requirements
The position will be based within our Washington Office; however travel will be required to our Sunderland Warehouse with the opportunity for flexible and hybrid work models. Travel may be required to other operating locations as specified by the Company to support resourcing activities.
