Sales Engineer

Our client is looking for a dynamic Sales Engineer to join their Team.

The Sales Engineer will be responsible for managing and developing existing and potential clients in prospective markets, actively generating, driving, and converting enquiries through to orders.

The candidate must be able to articulate and manage the technical and sales aspects of their products to both commercial and technical users to ensure that they meet and exceed customer expectations through all stages of the transaction process.

Clients are typically project / technical staff and purchasing personnel from major contractors and specialist equipment manufacturers within the oil & gas and renewables sectors.

Responsibilities and Duties

·        Identify, interpret, and respond to customer enquiries.

·        Generating rental and sales quotations.

·        Managing the processing of customers’ orders internally in the business.

·        Provide pre- and post-sale customer support.

·        Assist in the creation of sales literature.
(brochures, website content, social media content etc)

Key Skill Requirements

Technical experience in subsea products.

Substantial technical and sales background with good customer awareness. Ability to work in a team and to make initiatives independently. Minimum TWO years relevant experience, stress resilient with the ability to multitask.

Good communication skills in English and be able to demonstrate written verbal skills to include reports and presentations. Preparing and developing technical presentations to explain their company’s products and services.



·        Have sound subsea technical / engineering knowledge.

·        Computer literate in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint.

·        Relevant engineering qualification.
