THE ROLE

Design & Develop Quality Documents & to review/monitor all aspects of Quality throughout the Project

 

MAIN ACTIVITIES

Design & Develop quality documents.

Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.

Understanding of welding to BS EN 15614 and the materials to be used.

The compilation of Procedure & Processes for QA related activities.

Review and maintain quality plans / ITP’s at contract close out.

Ensuring compliance audits of product and processes are maintained.

Review /Approve in-process production by confirming specifications are met; communicating required adjustments to production supervisor along with any concerns/ issues.

Review /Approves finished products by confirming specifications; Verifying visual and measurement tests; returning products for re-work; confirming re-work.

Review Document inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarizing re-work and waste; inputting data into quality database.

Review measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions; calling for repairs.

Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications.

Maintain Client relations

Input to the labour performance matrix

Forward planning (review 3 day/ 7 day look ahead)

Review daily on going manufacture and highlight potential quality Concerns / Issues

Ensure Communication with workforce and all relevant departments at all times.

Ensure completions Procedure is being utilised and implemented PR56

Maintain the necessary Quality Documentation Records for timely Handover

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFCATIONS

  • CSWIP Welding Inspector 3.1
  • HND or Dip Engineer
  • 3 years previous relative experience
