Job / Role Purpose
To ensure that the finance department operates efficiently, reliably and with appropriate accuracy on a day-to-day basis, and to operate the finance department in a manner to safeguard the Company’s assets, prevent and detect fraud, and to produce information by the application of appropriate accounting policies and in line with applicable accounting standards.
Principal Accountabilities
Specific areas of responsibility are: Summary of Key activities will include (but not be limited to):
Responsible for completing monthly management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations.
Develop and refine the monthly reporting.
Production of the monthly board pack.
Rigorous cash flow management
Working with project team to ensure accurate project accounting and forecasting to help support the growth and success of the Group
Supporting the Financial Controller with continued development and implementation of the Group’s control environment.
Other projects and ad-hoc requirements as required to support the FC and MD.
Improving processes and new developments
To contribute to the development, communication and promotion of corporate purpose, vision, mission and value and to the development of a culture of continuous improvement
Other requirements
To work in accordance with defined Company HSEQ Management Systems and be aware of H&S responsibilities to you and to others

Qualifications, Skills & Knowledge
ACA / CIMA / ACCA Qualified
Well organised and an ability to use time wisely and efficiently.
Positive attitude and motivated to be part of a successful team.
Dependable and committed to delivering high quality work.
Ability to problem solve and identify solutions.
Strong attention to detail.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels with both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
